Why I do this work
I have a passion for helping more gals reach their highest potentials for leadership from a place of unshakeable confidence. When my husband ran for public office, I had the privilege of getting to know extraordinary women vying for other seats—many running for the first time and many of whom won their races. We rode the remarkable roller coaster of political campaigning together. I had already been coaching in other contexts for years, and was training with the rigorous Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching’s top-notch coach certification program. On fire to support the awe-inspiring, ever-growing legion of female powerhouse candidates by Helping Women Run—and THRIVE in the process—I crafted a new vision for coaching women campaigning for political office.
Why me?
Long before I fell in love with coaching, I spent decades building a toolkit of powerful skills in surprising and unconventional places. I began my career as a performing artist, honing strengths in relationship-building, creativity, resourcefulness, and a deep understanding of human emotion and behavior. I managed a standardized patient program, guiding and assessing medical students to improve communication and interpersonal skills. I facilitated leadership trainings for corporate executives and mid-level managers using role-play to encourage greater self-awareness, empathy, and improved people-management. I also spent twelve years in non-profit public education reform working to ensure educational equity and academic excellence for underserved children. My years in this space in particular exposed me to the power of coaching to help leaders transform themselves into agents of change. I was hooked, I learned from the masters, and here I am.

I know what it takes to harness unshakeable confidence from the inside out through your political campaign, all the way to Election Day (and beyond). And as a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, I am uniquely qualified to help women who are ready to step into greater leadership from that place of power.

I am not a political consultant. I make no promises of getting you elected to office, or serving up insider tips on political strategy. There are plenty of amazing folks and organizations out there to help you there. (I'm sure you're already familiar with many of them if you've gotten this far.)
